After the First Lady passed away, I was chosen as the Empress Consort.
That year, I was eight years old and became the mistress of the imperial palace.
On our wedding day, when His Majesty saw me, he was extremely shocked: 'What? Do they think I'm some kind of monster?'
I, however, was completely oblivious, pointing at the peach shortbread cookies and grinning at him: 'Brother-in-law Emperor, are there any more of these pastries?'
